Tauck Tours. One of the finest tour operators, this company features escorted group tours all over the world. They use upscale hotels, include most meals, and use the finest tour escorts available. They have a heavy repeat factor and a high customer satisfaction rate. They specialize in small groups.

Maupintour. On the same level as Tauck, this company features fewer destinations and departures. They also have a high customer satisfaction rate. They also specialize in small groups.

Trafalgar Tours. A mid to upper scale tour operator, they have excellent tours of the U.S. and also the United Kingdom and Europe. They use larger motorcoaches of 42 plus passengers and have excellent tour guides.

Abercrombie & Kent. A & K specializes in exotic, small group tours to Africa, India, Nepal, China and elsewhere. If you're looking for an African Safari or a Canal Barge Tour, this would be a good choice.

Mikato Safaris. If you want the finest African Safari, this is the company. Small groups, personally excorted, with no more than 6 passengers per safari vehicle, give you the best views. The tour guides are excellent. You begin your tour with a welcome cocktail party at the home of the Pinto family, the owners of Mikato Safaris. This is the tour operator used by the finest cruise lines for their safaris.

David Anderson Safaris. This fine company features mostly custom-designed itineraries to the three main safari regions of Africa ... East Africa, Southern Africa and South Africa. They can custom design a safari for most any budget. Most safaris are 16 to 21 days in length.

Classic Custom Vacations. They started with excellent packages to Hawaii, but now offer great package deals to Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe and the U.S. They use the finest hotel properties, and usually the best rooms within the property.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Of all the cruise lines on which we have sailed, this is the finest. They have six distinct ships offering varied itineraries, large suites with verandas, gourmet cuisine, highly personalized and attentive service, all drinks and gratuities. The new Mariner is the world's first all-suite, all-balcony cruise ship.

Crystal Cruises. This Six-Star rated cruise line features two large ships carrying only 940 guests each, the Crystal Serenity and the Crystal Symphony. Enjoy the finest in food and service, and the lavish spa. The suites are fantastic and over half of the staterooms have verandas.

Its new, huge ships offer beautiful decor and an incredible array of activities including ice skating, rock climbing, miniature golf and roller skating. Appealing to couples and singles in their 30's to 50's as well as families, this is a very cost effective vacation.

Princess Cruises. A leader in worldwide cruising, the Princess fleet offers more than 150 different itineraries with nearly 260 port of call around the globe.
